How Active Are You?
Inactivity is defined as moving around only to accomplish routine daily duties. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, 31 million Americans over the age of 50 are inactive. This means that more than a quarter of Americans over the age of 50 don't exercise - 29% of women and nearly 26% of men.

Exercise versus Physical Activity
What’s the difference? Both terms refer to the voluntary movements that you do that happen to burn calories. The only difference is in the way they are carried out. Physical activities are normal daily activities that get your body moving like gardening, walking the dog, or taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Exercise however, is a specifically planned, structured and repetitive form of physical activity. Exercise makes a real and lasting impact on your health that simply daily physical activity does not. Without regular exercise, you limit your body to function properly. This increases risk for the overwhelming number of diseases and disabilities associated with growing older. We help you to take an approach that can greatly reduce and even prevent these things from happening.

For example, we introduce simple functional body movements for some, and more intense strength-based and cardio trainings for others. What your program might look like…

Once we meet, we figure out your goals and decide a program that might work best for you.
This will include an fitness/exercise regimen and a personalized meal plan. We create both of these based on the information we gather from you, and any other factors involved. You can make these meals on your own, or you can access them through us at our facility! That’s right… we’ll cook your meal plan for you! (Convenient!)

Your fitness routine will be individualized to you. You’ll have your own personal trainer for support, with sessions from 2-3x per week, up to unlimited sessions based on your desire. You can ask for group training sessions, or keep these individualized. Depending on your strength and ability levels, we’ll have you performing simple functional body movements, or higher intensity strength training and cardio exercises. Remember… we only have you do what you can do.

Get this… you’ll also have access to other things we offer at our center. You can enjoy one free yoga class per month, and then pay just $10 per class after. We’ll also have discounted prices on chiropractic sessions and even massage (coming soon!)

As you follow your program, you’ll learn a lot! You’ll become fascinated by your ability to understand your body and its various systems. We help you to fix your digestion system through proper nutrition. We’ll teach you how to properly rotate the right nutrients so your body will be more responsive and productive through your fitness journey. Instead of battling fatigue, bloating, or other post-eating symptoms, you’ll start to feel energized, more focused, and more productive! You’ll make the connection between those symptoms you once had, and you’ll realize that what you were consuming and what you were doing wasn’t working!
